Carlos Fernando Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 30th match minute, Uno Mille FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Joachim Svenkerud made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Fernando Alvarenga. Uno Mille FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 35th minute, Caco Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Caco Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Fernando Alvarenga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caco Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 46 played minutes Uno Mille FC got a freekick which was hit by D.J. Kutas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hoàng Thuy was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genílson Mandrak in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Fernando Alvarenga saved Uno Mille FC from getting behind. After 77 minutes, Valdir Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uno Mille FC and the Palmeiras - Tia Leila players grew even worse after the yellow card. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
