In the 8th minute, Gonçalo Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Squad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches got control of the ball when Igor Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jessie Pinkman in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Jessie Pinkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Valdir Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uno Mille FC and the Green Squad FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Uno Mille FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Valdir Mandrak hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Uno Mille FC's Tobias Möckli got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jorge Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gilvan Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Uno Mille FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jorge Pires hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Rosa in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. When Uno Mille FC's Dinei Rosa in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Squad FC's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Antunes in the 41st minute of the match. Conrado Pernambucano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinei Rosa made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Uno Mille FC's José Paulo Pombal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed José Paulo Pombal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uno Mille FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and José Paulo Pombal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Tadeu Cosme's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 59 minutes into the match, Tadeu Cosme notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Uno Mille FC's Carlos Fernando Alvarenga. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 62 minutes, Tadeu Cosme made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Uno Mille FC's Carlos Fernando Alvarenga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulisses Antunes took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Fernando Alvarenga. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. 98 minutes into the game, Diguinho Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uno Mille FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Squad FC the free kick. In the 99th match minute, Uno Mille FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Green Squad FC played a much better game than Uno Mille FC and deserved their victory. The Uno Mille FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
