Martino Pozuelos was a little too slow when Patrick Meira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Cipriano Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Corrêa in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico de Godoi saved Russe Athletic from getting behind. Cipriano Duarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Martino Pozuelos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Patrick Meira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martino Pozuelos was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Cipriano Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martino Pozuelos having to interfere. Eurico de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Negri in the 32nd minute of play. Russe Athletic's Eurico de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semail İmralı in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, S.C. Internacional RS's goalkeeper Martino Pozuelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Duarte. In the 43rd minute, Narciso Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Hélio Corrêa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Russe Athletic's Eurico de Godoi. Eurico de Godoi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Semail İmralı. Eurico de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Hélio Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Russe Athletic's Eurico de Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martino Pozuelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Meira in the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Russe Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Skaradowski to maneuver through the defense. Semail İmralı was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eurico de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brasil Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico de Godoi stood somewhat misplaced when Hélio Corrêa came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 72 minute. Eurico de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Negri in the 76th minute. Narciso Negri came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eurico de Godoi could save by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Glauco Valadares put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Russe Athletic:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.C. Internacional RS:s goal.
