But to his dismay, Caco Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 17 minutes into the match, Joachim Svenkerud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Madeo. After some careless play in the Star One Team defense, Genílson Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Madeo. The Star One Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Madeo should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Genílson Mandrak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Madeo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 26th minute Joachim Svenkerud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Madeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Genílson Mandrak made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Madeo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Genílson Mandrak put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Gilberto Madeo. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Elano Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Erroman in the 35th minute of play. Gilberto Madeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Star One Team's Gilberto Madeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Barbosa in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-11.

The wind increased when Diego Erroman made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Téo Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Star One Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras - Tia Leila the free kick. After a rather tough play, Star One Team's Téo Santos got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gilberto Madeo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Olívio Sá. Gilberto Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Svenkerud in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Sá in the 57th minute of play forced Star One Team's goalkeeper Gilberto Madeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genílson Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Madeo having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Caco Barbosa notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Star One Team's Gilberto Madeo. Gilberto Madeo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Genílson Mandrak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. Caco Barbosa scored 0-14 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Madeo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 73 minutes, Diego Erroman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Star One Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Erroman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Madeo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joachim Svenkerud went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-15 was the resulting score. Luizinho Quadros really showed his touch with that goal: 0-18. The Star One Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmeiras - Tia Leila were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
