Olívio Sá was slow to take the kick. During this time Palmeiras - Tia Leila's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Caco Barbosa drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Trocary's goalkeeper. The supporters of Palmeiras - Tia Leila booed when Trocary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sarmento was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Genílson Mandrak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Genílson Mandrak really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Frank Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caco Barbosa in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Caco Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 34th minute, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Caco Barbosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frank Sarmento. Frank Sarmento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Genílson Mandrak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Caco Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Frank Sarmento made a huge save. 42 minutes into the game, Genílson Mandrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frank Sarmento. Genílson Mandrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caco Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Barbosa in the 53rd minute of play forced Trocary's goalkeeper Frank Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Joachim Svenkerud got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Caco Barbosa notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Trocary's Frank Sarmento. Frank Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Genílson Mandrak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmeiras - Tia Leila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. If Benedito Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Ezequiel Lira was substituted for Bebeto Recife. Caco Barbosa took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Sarmento. Frank Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 76th minute Genílson Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Varela came free, but Elano Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sarmento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caco Barbosa went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. After 82 played minutes Trocary got a freekick which was hit by Percival Albuquerque. Palmeiras - Tia Leila made a substitution. Luizinho Quadros replaced Caco Barbosa. After a rather tough play, Trocary's Percival Albuquerque got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizinho Quadros in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Sarmento saved Trocary from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Trocary's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Svenkerud came free, but Frank Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Luizinho Quadros made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Genílson Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Palmeiras - Tia Leila were the better team. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
