Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5711, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 132) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hamdi Sunay kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Carona's Caio Tróia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Carona's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Franco came free, but Björn Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 10 in the game by Marco Tróia from a close distance when the talented Fausto Neves managed to make a qualified save. Argento 1972's players were relieved. Hamílton Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamílton Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fausto Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çakabey Eroğul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Argento 1972 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Raul Franco hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Çakabey Eroğul reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Neves. The goal made the score 3-0. Marco Tróia in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fausto Neves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Argento 1972's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso de Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Carona's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Carona's corner Celso de Toledo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fausto Neves quite easily take care of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Çakabey Eroğul notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Argento 1972's Fausto Neves. Fausto Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the game, Marco Tróia lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Fausto Neves. In the 32nd match minute, Argento 1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Matos to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Neves made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Çakabey Eroğul sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Argento 1972 got a freekick which was hit by Raul Franco. Fausto Neves came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carona's Çakabey Eroğul. But to his dismay, Çakabey Eroğul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 46th match minute, Argento 1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çakabey Eroğul made a kick off. Fausto Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caio Tróia went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Çakabey Eroğul took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Neves. Fausto Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Carona's Björn Åkesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Carona from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Raimundo Paraense took a quick shot and it went in 9-1 without a chance for Björn Åkesson to make any attempt to save it. Tiaguinho Matos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Çakabey Eroğul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Neves was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çakabey Eroğul in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the game, Carona's Çakabey Eroğul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-1. Fausto Neves came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Carona's Caio Tróia. But to his dismay, Caio Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-1. After 79 minutes, Marco Tróia made it 13-1 with a short kick to the right side. Argento 1972's Fausto Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Paraense got free with Björn Åkesson in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88 minutes, Raimundo Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argento 1972 and the Carona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raimundo Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Fausto Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Tróia in the 92nd minute of play. Fausto Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Tróia in the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Argento 1972 defense, Marco Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Neves. The Argento 1972 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Neves should have stopped the shot. Carona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
