Valdo da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Guardiões da Muralha FC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Catarinense. 39 minutes into the game, Giovana F C's Tadeu Xavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdo da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Valdo da Costa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Giovana F C's Tadeu Xavier. But to his dismay, Tadeu Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cléber Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
