Johannes Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Arghiroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Comanche EC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Finsberg came free, but Johannes Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Witold Blochowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Fresco in the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Climax FC's zone, Eliseu Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Claus came out of the goal and Eliseu Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Fresco took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johannes Isaksson. Johannes Isaksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Johannes Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Arghiroiu in the 47th minute of play. After 48 played minutes Climax FC got a freekick which was hit by Almir Santana. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when García Cuervas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If García Cuervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Climax FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Almir Santana hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Dieguinho Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comanche EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dieguinho Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Claus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Climax FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Americo Leobardo hit a great ball. Johannes Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Jacinto in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Fresco got free with Johannes Isaksson in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Climax FC defense, García Cuervas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Claus. The Climax FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Claus should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Cipriano Fresco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johannes Isaksson. The goal made the score 2-2. Remigio Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Blochowiak in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Comanche EC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sidney Vidal hit a great ball. Johannes Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Fresco in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by García Cuervas in the 95th minute of play forced Climax FC's goalkeeper Remigio Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Climax FC's goal looked a bit too open when García Cuervas came free, but Remigio Claus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
