Valdo da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiaguinho da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tiaguinho da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo de Alcântara in the 13th minute of play. Valdo da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Paraíba in the 14th minute of the match. Amauri de Lima's late challenge caught a Guardiões da Muralha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Amauri de Lima got a free kick in the 19th minute. Valdo da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Rodrigues in the 20th minute of play. Valdo da Costa came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Jacinto Paraíba. But to his dismay, Jacinto Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Guardiões da Muralha FC's Valdo da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Paraíba in the 26th minute of play. Valdo da Costa came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Adriano Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Adriano Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 31st minute, Bernardo Soares made a precise shot to the right of Valdo da Costa. Guardiões da Muralha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 34th minute, Leonardo de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Adriano Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Tiaguinho da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Xapetuba Futebol Clube were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adriano Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Guardiões da Muralha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Soares came free, but Valdo da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdo da Costa was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Jacinto Paraíba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacinto Paraíba really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 70 minutes into the match, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Maia came free, but Tiaguinho da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Dorian Vides almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Tiaguinho da Cunha did a great save. After 74 minutes of play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Adriano Rodrigues made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdo da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Adriano Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdo da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Patrick Neiva was substituted for Jacinto Paraíba. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xapetuba Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dorian Vides was slow to take the kick. During this time Guardiões da Muralha FC's players had a chance to rest. 92 minutes into the game, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Patrick Neiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdo da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Patrick Neiva sped through Guardiões da Muralha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdo da Costa. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
