Spectators: 7788 (Terracing: 5842, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 155) Climax FC's Stefan Finsberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Cipriano Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor Canturri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valdo da Costa, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Guardiões da Muralha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Finsberg came free, but Valdo da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiaguinho Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Claus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Remigio Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Maia in the 15th minute of the match. Humberto da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto da Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nabucodonosor Canturri scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdo da Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29th play minutes Cipriano Fresco shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Valdo da Costa and just under the crossbar into goal. Valdo da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Finsberg in the 31st minute of play. Climax FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ezequiel Simões in the 33rd minute. Remigio Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Maia in the 41st minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Climax FC's Abel Jacinto in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Valdo da Costa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Guardiões da Muralha FC through an amazing save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Cléber Maia made the kick off in the second half. Remigio Claus was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Leonardo de Alcântara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo de Alcântara really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The Climax FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Climax FC's Cipriano Fresco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Climax FC's Ezequiel Simões got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Dorian Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardiões da Muralha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Claus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cléber Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Guardiões da Muralha FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo de Alcântara. Cipriano Fresco took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdo da Costa. Valdo da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 76th minute, Abel Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Valdo da Costa. Guardiões da Muralha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Remigio Claus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Cipriano Fresco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdo da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guardiões da Muralha FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Climax FC.
