Adriano Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané França having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atlanta United F.C.'s Fred Fernandez got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Atlanta United F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Xapetuba Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
