After some careless play in the Atlanta United F.C. defense, Cipriano Fresco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mané França. The Atlanta United F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mané França should have stopped the shot. Mané França made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Arghiroiu in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Serafim de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlanta United F.C. were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Climax FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel da Fonseca took the corner. Mané França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Finsberg in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Ştefan Arghiroiu made a precise shot to the right of Mané França. Atlanta United F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Mané França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Fresco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Climax FC's Ştefan Arghiroiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mané França made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. But to his dismay, Cipriano Fresco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 76th minute Cipriano Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Climax FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Climax FC's Ştefan Arghiroiu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Climax FC were the better team. Climax FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
