With his leg Silvinho Dracena managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when Carona's Çakabey Eroğul fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marco Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvinho Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Marco Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléber Maia in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Åkesson saved Carona from getting behind. The supporters of Guardiões da Muralha FC booed when Carona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno de Andrade in the 20th minute of play forced Carona's goalkeeper Björn Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvinho Dracena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çakabey Eroğul's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Çakabey Eroğul scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvinho Dracena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Breno de Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Åkesson was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Çakabey Eroğul's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silvinho Dracena firmly grabbed it by the left post. Guardiões da Muralha FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Carona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dorian Vides took the corner. Tiaguinho Amaral was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. João Carlos Pirani hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Silvinho Dracena was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Celso de Toledo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celso de Toledo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 43rd minute Tiaguinho Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guardiões da Muralha FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Carona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dorian Vides took the corner. The corner ended in Dorian Vides almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carona's Björn Åkesson did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

In the 50th minute, Çakabey Eroğul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 52 minutes into the game, Renan Cavalcante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guardiões da Muralha FC the free kick. The supporters of Guardiões da Muralha FC booed when Carona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Çakabey Eroğul notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Guardiões da Muralha FC's Silvinho Dracena. Silvinho Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute of the match, Breno de Andrade got a very nice opportunity to score, but Björn Åkesson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Çakabey Eroğul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Silvinho Dracena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the game, Cléber Maia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Björn Åkesson. Cléber Maia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-2. Björn Åkesson made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tiaguinho Amaral sent off a good shot on target. When Renan Cavalcante was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 78th minute, one of Carona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carona. The supporters of Guardiões da Muralha FC booed when Carona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çakabey Eroğul didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Guardiões da Muralha FC defense, Juarês Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvinho Dracena. The Guardiões da Muralha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvinho Dracena should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Carona getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Percival Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Guardiões da Muralha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Silvinho Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çakabey Eroğul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Guardiões da Muralha FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Christiano Azevedo hit a great ball. Carona's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
