The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alex Hermes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Dadá Hermes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldinho Vianna during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evandro Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Muçum FC's Dadá Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Paraense in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Muçum FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Juan Corrêa hit a great ball. Dé Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Paulista having to interfere. If Dé Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Paraense got free with Dadá Hermes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dadá Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Paraense went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes Argento 1972 got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Paraense. Hamdi Sunay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dé Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hamdi Sunay made the kick off in the second half. Zachariasz Bronicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Muçum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Paraense came free, but Dadá Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Muçum FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Branco. In the 68th match minute, Argento 1972 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Bronicki to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Zachariasz Bronicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argento 1972's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariasz Bronicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes, Alex Hermes made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Muçum FC's Dadá Hermes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Evandro Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jânio Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Dé Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muçum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dé Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jânio Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jânio Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Argento 1972 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
