Spectators: 7669 (Terracing: 5864, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 155) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dominic Kindt made the kick off which started today's match. Noel Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Eraldo Guzman made a huge save. José Augusto Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Kindt, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Carlinhos F.C's Fu Lin got a free kick in the 5th minute. José Augusto Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Xiang Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CerksPP were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Carlinhos F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dominic Kindt took the corner. In the 16th minute, Dominic Kindt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cícero Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eraldo Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes Carlinhos F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dominic Kindt who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Carlinhos F.C's goalie and right to Tonhão Cannavaro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Carlinhos F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Carlinhos F.C's José Augusto Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Corrêa in the 27th minute of play. CerksPP were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Carlinhos F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dominic Kindt took the corner. José Augusto Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Xiang Yang in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Dominic Kindt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Augusto Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Dominic Kindt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Augusto Matos was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Noel Senna notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CerksPP's Eraldo Guzman. Eraldo Guzman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Augusto Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Xiang Yang in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, CerksPP's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Paranaense came free, but Eraldo Guzman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominic Kindt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half CerksPP were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Noel Senna made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, He Xiang Yang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Augusto Matos. The goal made the score 1-3. With a little luck, Carlinhos F.C's José Augusto Matos got control of the ball when He Xiang Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, CerksPP's He Xiang Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Augusto Matos. José Augusto Matos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 62nd minute Jeremias Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Celsinho Corrêa notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Carlinhos F.C's José Augusto Matos. José Augusto Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Carlinhos F.C getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jeremias Viana hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, CerksPP's He Xiang Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Augusto Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th of the match, Celsinho Corrêa tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but José Augusto Matos got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 75th minute of the match CerksPP got a corner. Carlinhos F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dominic Kindt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dominic Kindt made a great header on CerksPP's corner, it was just that Carlinhos F.C's José Augusto Matos managed to reach the ball for a save. Eraldo Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Simão in the 77th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Dominic Kindt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Augusto Matos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 86th minute, CerksPP's He Xiang Yang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. 90 minutes into the match, Celsinho Corrêa notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Carlinhos F.C's José Augusto Matos. José Augusto Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as He Xiang Yang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Augusto Matos. That made the score 1-8 in the 93 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CerksPP eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
