Cássio Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, SÃO PAULO 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Alagoano came free, but 汪勇鹏 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Clube de Regatas Flamengo booed when SÃO PAULO 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Grubb didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Francisco Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cássio Mandrak came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by SÃO PAULO 4EVER's Vitinho Moraes. But to his dismay, Vitinho Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute, Clube de Regatas Flamengo's João Francisco Falcão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 2-2 became the score in the 31st minute when Antônio Alagoano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Clube de Regatas Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Faria to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but 汪勇鹏 made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

João Francisco Falcão hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cássio Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 武诚树 in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th match minute, SÃO PAULO 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 武诚树 to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Magno Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 武诚树 in the 70th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Mario Nataniel put in a rough tackle. In the 72nd minute, Mario Nataniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magno Vale during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Magno Vale hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes, Clube de Regatas Flamengo's Antônio Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 汪勇鹏 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube de Regatas Flamengo reached it. After 85 minutes, Claudinei Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube de Regatas Flamengo and the SÃO PAULO 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudinei Seco hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Cássio Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 武诚树, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the match was over SÃO PAULO 4EVER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clube de Regatas Flamengo throughout the match.
