After a defensive mix-up in Um Deus Um Propósito F.C's zone, Cícero Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luís Pires came out of the goal and Cícero Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute of the match Carlinhos F.C got a corner. Um Deus Um Propósito F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fu Lin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Carlinhos F.C's corner Fu Lin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Luís Pires quite easily take care of the ball. André Luís Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Senna in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Carlinhos F.C got a corner. Um Deus Um Propósito F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fu Lin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carlinhos F.C's Fu Lin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but André Luís Pires in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Percival Valladares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Nando Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Um Deus Um Propósito F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Viana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Cícero Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Luís Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cícero Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Senna in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luís Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Viana scored 0-7 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Luís Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. André Luís Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Carlinhos F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Um Deus Um Propósito F.C throughout the match.
