Hugo Terra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulisses Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Terra came free, but Ulisses Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Sandro Travassos put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ulisses Toledo. Sandro Travassos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Ulisses Toledo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Anderbye FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Adilson Proença hit a great ball. Anderbye FC's Ulisses Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Anderbye FC from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Correia. Sandro Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gato Morto's Hugo Terra in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anderbye FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Terra in the 32nd minute of play forced Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Gato Morto got a corner. Anderbye FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tage Stenseth ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ulisses Toledo had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hugo Terra from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Sandro Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Gato Morto's Tage Stenseth to fire away a dangerous shot which Ulisses Toledo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gato Morto's Ademir Brodel got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Anderbye FC booed when Gato Morto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

A collision led to Anderbye FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ricardinho Correia hit a great ball. Hugo Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ulisses Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Gato Morto's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Correia came free, but Flávio Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Anderbye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 63 minutes, Sandro Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gato Morto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Sandro Travassos put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ulisses Toledo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Terra in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Toledo saved Anderbye FC from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Horácio Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Tajo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Tajo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 79 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Terra came free, but Ulisses Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Hugo Terra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gato Morto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anderbye FC the free kick. Tadeu Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The Gato Morto fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Gato Morto's Sandro Travassos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 90 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Correia. 94 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Terra came free, but Ulisses Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Anderbye FC's zone, Sandro Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses Toledo came out of the goal and Sandro Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Gato Morto were the better team. Gato Morto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
