The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Terra was the one to do the kick off. Gato Morto's Flávio Tróia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Gato Morto from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Um Deus Um Propósito F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Travassos came free, but André Luís Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Munhoz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The Gato Morto manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Um Deus Um Propósito F.C to win.
