After 14 played minutes, Araraquara SS's Abel Trevisan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeremias Andrade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Araraquara SS reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathieu-Maxim Claessens in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Araraquara SS's goalkeeper Erivaldo Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathieu-Maxim Claessens. In the 21st minute, Edinho Viana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jeremias Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edinho Viana went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathieu-Maxim Claessens made a kick off. 武伟晨 struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Araraquara SS played a much better game than Heidemann FC - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Heidemann FC - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
