The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Severino Vergílio managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Tales Pombal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 5 minutes, Cauã Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG and the Estação F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Estação F.C's Nicanor Gorosti was substituted for Maurício Tróia. After a rather tough play, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Cauã Passos got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Sten Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michel Salles was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Michel Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Estação F.C's zone, Breno Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Vergílio came out of the goal and Breno Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Castro in the 30th minute of play forced Estação F.C's goalkeeper Severino Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Michel Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes Estação F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Breno Tasso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's José Pedro Vides getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 43 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Passos. When Faustão Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's protests and gave Faustão Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Faustão Trigo hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tales Pombal was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Breno Tasso made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Malte Örtendahl took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percival Munhoz. Percival Munhoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Estação F.C's Severino Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Tasso in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, 朱烨瑜 made a precise shot to the right of Percival Munhoz. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 69th minute Malte Örtendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Breno Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Tales Pombal in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Percival Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estação F.C. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Örtendahl in the 85th minute of play forced Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Percival Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Malte Örtendahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estação F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. If Breno Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Estação F.C's goalkeeper Severino Vergílio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulisses Proença hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Estação F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
