Morjan Al Sayer made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ernesto Damião sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Toscano in the 8th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Damião got free with Morjan Al Sayer in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Turgay Mutluhan made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jeremias Paraense. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C TAUBATÉ's goalkeeper Morjan Al Sayer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Matorin. Clóvis Toscano, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 26th match minute, Minotauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Santos to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Marz in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Perivaldo Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Clóvis Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni de Toledo should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, E.C TAUBATÉ's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Damião came free, but Morjan Al Sayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to E.C TAUBATÉ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Froilan Sein hit a great ball. Anıl Şahan scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 45 minutes, Toninho Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C TAUBATÉ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anıl Şahan made a kick off. Jano Palmeira hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Morjan Al Sayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes E.C TAUBATÉ got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Şahan. Jean Eger's late challenge caught a E.C TAUBATÉ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Minotauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Eger to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Toninho Arruda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Giovanni de Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jean Eger got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jean Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Giovanni de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Marz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to E.C TAUBATÉ getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Elias Ubarna hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anıl Şahan couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Turgay Mutluhan with Jeremias Paraense as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Giovanni de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Toninho Arruda sent off a good shot on target. E.C TAUBATÉ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
