After having played for 3 minutes, Dráusio Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Red Ale Perdizes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Frédson Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Leonard Setara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Red Ale Perdizes's Frédson Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dráusio Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oséas Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráusio Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th match minute, FC Red Ale Perdizes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Matos to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Berger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Frédson Nunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Douglas Berger kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Red Ale Perdizes's keeper Frédson Nunes was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 24thth minute of the game Leonard Setara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Red Ale Perdizes's Frédson Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes, Amílton Baiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Red Ale Perdizes and the AMÉRICA F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Red Ale Perdizes's Amílton Baiano got a free kick in the 26th minute. A hard shot 27 in the game by Leonard Setara from a close distance when the talented Frédson Nunes managed to make a qualified save. FC Red Ale Perdizes's players were relieved. Frédson Nunes came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by AMÉRICA F.C.'s Douglas Berger. But to his dismay, Douglas Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Douglas Bergers short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Frédson Nunes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rafa Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Trancoso having to interfere. After 42 played minutes FC Red Ale Perdizes got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Baiano. In the 44th minute Narciso Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frédson Nunes was a little too slow when Leonard Setara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Berger in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frédson Nunes saved FC Red Ale Perdizes from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, AMÉRICA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oséas Trancoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílton Baiano. In the 56th minute of the match, Dráusio Matos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oséas Trancoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Michael Ballack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Setara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frédson Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, FC Red Ale Perdizes's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Berger came free, but Frédson Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Arósio in the 70th minute of play forced AMÉRICA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oséas Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Douglas Berger made a precise shot to the right of Frédson Nunes. FC Red Ale Perdizes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Oséas Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Freire in the 84th minute. AMÉRICA F.C.'s Oséas Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Arósio in the 88th minute of play. Douglas Berger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frédson Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. FC Red Ale Perdizes's Ediberto Alves shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oséas Trancoso but with some difficulty. There was no doubt that AMÉRICA F.C. were the better team. AMÉRICA F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
