After 11 played minutes Doug Zappa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Favoretto. After a rather tough play, ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's Arnaldo de Sena got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's goalkeeper Erasmo de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's João Adolfo Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Kolbe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Erasmo de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doug Zappa F.C.. After having played for 22 minutes, Jonas Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erasmo de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 32 played minutes, ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's Sidney Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iwan Kolbe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS reached it. 33 minutes into the game, Gualter Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Doug Zappa F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's Gualter Sabóia got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Gilvan Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Erasmo de Carvalho made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Erasmo de Carvalho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Iwan Kolbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Queiroz in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, one of Doug Zappa F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Doug Zappa F.C.. Sílvio Luiz Fernandez shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Adolfo Mota was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Doug Zappa F.C.'s Jonas Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Jonas Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Frank Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Frank Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doug Zappa F.C.'s Frank Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Adolfo Mota in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Kolbe saved Doug Zappa F.C. from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Jonas Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's Erasmo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Siqueira in the 72nd minute of play. It was a well-played corner which André Luís Alvarenga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonas Domingues made a great header on Doug Zappa F.C.'s corner, it was just that ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's Erasmo de Carvalho managed to reach the ball for a save. João Adolfo Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Frank Siqueira made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo de Carvalho. ProjetoSocial GOL DE LINS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Frank Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doug Zappa F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jonas Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Doug Zappa F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
