In the 13th minute, Maximiliano Lucado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavinho Dionísio took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Morjan Al Sayer. Morjan Al Sayer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Morjan Al Sayer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavinho Dionísio went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Naldo Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Morjan Al Sayer. E.C TAUBATÉ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naldo Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Şahan in the 26th minute of play forced Vila Aurora FC's goalkeeper Chicão Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Elias Ubarna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C TAUBATÉ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Aurora FC the free kick. After 31 played minutes E.C TAUBATÉ got a freekick which was hit by Elias Ubarna. 38 minutes into the match, Silvinho de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Morjan Al Sayer. E.C TAUBATÉ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvinho de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. When Remigio Euloxu fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila Aurora FC's protests and gave Remigio Euloxu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vila Aurora FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Remigio Euloxu hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anıl Şahan to make the kick off. Morjan Al Sayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Dionísio in the 54th minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Toninho Arruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Aurora FC's Chicão Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vila Aurora FC's Chicão Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Marz in the 60th minute of play. Toninho Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Leal having to interfere. Chicão Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Toscano in the 64th minute of play. E.C TAUBATÉ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clóvis Toscano in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, E.C TAUBATÉ's Napoleon Frodyma got a free kick in the 66th minute. A collision led to Vila Aurora FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Remigio Euloxu hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes, E.C TAUBATÉ's Clóvis Toscano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chicão Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in E.C TAUBATÉ reached it. In the 76th match minute, Vila Aurora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Lucado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Arruda in the 79th minute of play forced Vila Aurora FC's goalkeeper Chicão Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Vila Aurora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Arruda came free, but Chicão Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. E.C TAUBATÉ were furious when Napoleon Frodyma was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 83rd minute, one of E.C TAUBATÉ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for E.C TAUBATÉ. 85 minutes into the game, Vila Aurora FC's Breno Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Morjan Al Sayer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Silvinho de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Morjan Al Sayer made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Silvinho de Senna sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Vila Aurora FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Breno Borges hit a great ball. Clóvis Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Vila Aurora FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vila Aurora FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
