José Maria Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Elias Sousa made a huge save. Elias Sousa made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when José Maria Pena sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes Douradinho EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clemente Massa who took care of the corner kick. Narciz Gregl kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, A.D. Imperial's Dadá Maravilha made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dadá Maravilha was the one to do the kick off. Dadá Maravilha hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Elias Sousa came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Imperial's Dadá Maravilha. But to his dismay, Dadá Maravilha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Reynaldo de Mendonça hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Dadá Maravilha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Douradinho EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Elias Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dadá Maravilha's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When A.D. Imperial's Dadá Maravilha in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Douradinho EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute of the match A.D. Imperial got a corner. Douradinho EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clemente Massa ran over to the corner to take the kick. 73 minutes into the match, Dadá Maravilha notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa. Elias Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Maravilha in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Sousa saved Douradinho EC from getting behind. Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Douradinho EC's Cássio Brasil got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 83 played minutes, A.D. Imperial's Clemente Massa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Sousa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.D. Imperial reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Maravilha in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Sousa saved Douradinho EC from getting behind. Elias Sousa came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Imperial's Dadá Maravilha. But to his dismay, Dadá Maravilha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A.D. Imperial had played much better football throughout.
