After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Wanderson Valencia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Militros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Valencia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Wanderson Valencia put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Inge Sundström. 23 minutes into the match, Wanderson Valencia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inge Sundström. Loucos da Bola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Valencia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Cunha in the 26th minute of play forced Loucos da Bola FC's goalkeeper Inge Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Wanderson Valencia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Militros F.C. and the Loucos da Bola FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wanderson Valencia hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Howard Layfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inge Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wanderson Valencia got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Wanderson Valencia hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Gerd Pollmann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Loucos da Bola FC defense, Cosimo Tagliente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Sundström. The Loucos da Bola FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Sundström should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Loucos da Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Cunha came free, but Inge Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardinho Velasco was the one to do the kick off. Bernardinho Velasco hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Ronaldão Silva struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Inge Sundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Militros F.C.. 59 minutes into the game, Militros F.C.'s Ronaldão Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Sundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Loucos da Bola FC's Inge Sundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Loucos da Bola FC from getting a goal against them. When Ronaldão Silva came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Militros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Silva couldn't finish the play. Cosimo Tagliente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Sandrinho Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loucos da Bola FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Ronaldão Silva scored to the left of an out of position Inge Sundström, making the score, 0-6. After 79 played minutes Militros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Regis. Sandrinho Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Inge Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Militros F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
