Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1380, VIP seats: 60) PeterDias FC's Abdullah Taş started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdullah Taş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Sousa having to interfere. Chico Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo de Mendonça in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Abdullah Taş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abdullah Taş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jânio Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Elias Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio Linhares came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elias Sousa could save by the left post. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind PeterDias FC's goalkeeper Chico Fantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elias Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdullah Taş in the 28th minute of play. The long shot by Başar Haylaz in the 32nd minute really tested Elias Sousa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 33rd minute Başar Haylaz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Haroldo Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Douradinho EC's protests and gave Haroldo Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. PeterDias FC's Virgílio Linhares was substituted for Başar Haylaz. In the 40th minute, Abdullah Taş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdullah Taş in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 minutes of play Douradinho EC's Haroldo Bittencourt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. PeterDias FC made a substitution. Perivaldo Sá replaced Virgílio Linhares. In the 44th minute, Haroldo Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Jânio Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. PeterDias FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jânio Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrézinho Tinoco made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrézinho Tinoco in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th match minute, Douradinho EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Douradinho EC's Reynaldo de Mendonça got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Jânio Linhares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elias Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the match, Douradinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Linhares came free, but Elias Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdullah Taş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Douradinho EC's Andrézinho Tinoco in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PeterDias FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in PeterDias FC's zone, Andrézinho Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Fantini came out of the goal and Andrézinho Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Abdullah Taş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdullah Taş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Sousa having to interfere. Elias Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdullah Taş's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Abdullah Taş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinho Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Abdullah Taş made a precise shot to the right of Elias Sousa. Douradinho EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jânio Linhares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Sousa having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the PeterDias FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
