An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Van Hoeyvelt in the 2nd minute of play forced Douradinho EC's goalkeeper Elias Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Douradinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Volponi came free, but Elias Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lidice booed when Douradinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Daniel Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Daniel Kvarnström sped through Douradinho EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elias Sousa. In the 15th match minute, Lidice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Lon to maneuver through the defense. Vitinho Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Andrézinho Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Douradinho EC booed when Lidice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Johnny Van Hoeyvelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Van Hoeyvelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Claudinho Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Douradinho EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lidice the free kick. A collision led to Douradinho EC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Claudinho Baptista hit a great ball. The supporters of Lidice booed when Douradinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Lidice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Rallo to maneuver through the defense. Elias Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz do Nascimento in the 31st minute of play. Elias Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Kvarnström in the 32nd minute of the match. Daniel Kvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Douradinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Kvarnström came free, but Elias Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Volponi in the 35th minute of the match. Elias Sousa came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Lidice's Daniel Kvarnström. But to his dismay, Daniel Kvarnström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Kvarnström in the 42nd minute of play. Elias Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Van Hoeyvelt in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Kvarnström was the one to do the kick off. Johnny Van Hoeyvelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Daniel Kvarnström took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Elias Sousa to make any attempt to save it. Elias Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Kvarnström in the 74th minute of the match. Lidice's Vitinho Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Tinoco in the 75th minute of play. Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Kvarnström in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Lidice got a corner. Douradinho EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Carlos Moreno ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andrézinho Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Vitinho Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Bittencourt in the 85th minute of play. Johnny Van Hoeyvelt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Elias Sousa made a huge save. If Daniel Kvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Daniel Kvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lidice's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Kvarnström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny Van Hoeyvelt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Elias Sousa made a huge save. The Douradinho EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lidice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
