Loucos da Bola FC's Bernardinho Velasco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With his leg Elias Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Loucos da Bola FC's Bernardinho Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bernardinho Velascos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Elias Sousa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elias Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Velasco in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Loucos da Bola FC's Jack Ekblom ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elias Sousa. Elias Sousa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Elias Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Loucos da Bola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Britto to maneuver through the defense. If Nilmar Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Bernardinho Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loucos da Bola FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardinho Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Jack Ekblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Baptista during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Adan Enekoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Enekoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Douradinho EC booed when Loucos da Bola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Loucos da Bola FC's Adan Enekoitz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 68 minutes of play, Loucos da Bola FC's Bernardinho Velasco made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Loucos da Bola FC booed when Douradinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Loucos da Bola FC's goalkeeper Inge Sundström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrézinho Tinoco. In the 84th minute, Andrézinho Tinoco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inge Sundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 87th minute, Haroldo Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardinho Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Loucos da Bola FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
