A hard shot 7 in the game by Akis Bouzios from a close distance when the talented João Augusto Abreu managed to make a qualified save. Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's players were relieved. In the 12th minute José Maria Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's João Augusto Abreu got control of the ball when José Maria Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Augusto Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Akis Bouzioss short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got João Augusto Abreu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 47 minutes into the game, Arlindo Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Valeri Zabelin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Maria Pena was the one to do the kick off. Zahir Sahnouni kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Osvaldinho Trevisan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valeri Zabelin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Valeri Zabelin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 78th minute Akis Bouzios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's Osvaldinho Trevisan got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF booed when A.D. Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Maravilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's Arlindo Miranda got a free kick in the 94th minute. Nicolas Favoretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valeri Zabelin having to make a save.
