An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Miranda in the 5th minute of play forced Douradinho EC's goalkeeper Elias Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes Douradinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Mangueira. Elias Sousa came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's Nicolas Favoretto. But to his dismay, Nicolas Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Elias Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Favoretto's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa got control of the ball when Nicolas Favoretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Douradinho EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Nicolas Favoretto scored to the left of an out of position Elias Sousa, making the score, 5-0. Arlindo Miranda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Elias Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrézinho Tinoco to make the kick off. Elias Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Favoretto in the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Favoretto in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Trevisan in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Nicolas Favoretto notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa. Elias Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Douradinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Favoretto came free, but Elias Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Palmas Sport Club - FDFDF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
