The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alex Volponi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Gerd Pollmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Van Hoeyvelt in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Wanderson Valencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Lidice's goalkeeper Vitinho Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Skräddare. In the 26th minute, Cosimo Tagliente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitinho Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Lidice's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Cunha came free, but Vitinho Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitinho Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Valencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match Militros F.C. got a corner. Lidice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sandrinho Cunha ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Zé Carlos Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lidice's protests and gave Zé Carlos Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. Vitinho Gaspar had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Wanderson Valencia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Lidice's Luiz do Nascimento got a free kick in the 47th minute. Militros F.C.'s Wanderson Valencia got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Kvarnström to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Kvarnström in the 53rd minute of play forced Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Gerd Pollmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Militros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Tagliente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Paulão Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Militros F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lidice the free kick. After a rather tough play, Militros F.C.'s Paulão Freire got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Lidice's Daniel Kvarnström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerd Pollmann. Gerd Pollmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Gerd Pollmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandrinho Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitinho Gaspar having to make a save. When Paulão Freire, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vitinho Gaspar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, Lidice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Gerd Pollmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Kvarnström in the 80th minute of the match. Daniel Kvarnström took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerd Pollmann. Gerd Pollmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Paulão Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Militros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Militros F.C.'s Paulão Freire in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lidice's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Paulão Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitinho Gaspar. Lidice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulão Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 92ndth minute of the game Paulão Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lidice's Vitinho Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Cosimo Tagliente made a precise shot to the right of Vitinho Gaspar. Lidice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Militros F.C. had won after a very even match.
