After 3 minutes, Abelardo Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blink Forever FC and the S.C. Internacional players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Blink Forever FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute of the match Rei Pelle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Zanette showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Pedro Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hubert Pihl came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the S.C. Internacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hubert Pihl couldn't finish the play. After 11 played minutes S.C. Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Pihl. Bogumil Jarmulowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blink Forever FC's Eduardo Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo da Mata in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Osvaldo da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Internacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-1 when João Pedro Donatello sped through S.C. Internacional's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogumil Jarmulowicz. In the 33rd minute, Kajar Aibast got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. S.C. Internacional's Bogumil Jarmulowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Internacional from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Blink Forever FC booed when S.C. Internacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo da Mata was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Abelardo Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Blink Forever FC's zone, Rei Pelle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Zanette came out of the goal and Rei Pelle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Pedro Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Pedro Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Pedro Donatello hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. S.C. Internacional's Bogumil Jarmulowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Donatello in the 58th minute of play. If Evandro Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kajar Aibast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bogumil Jarmulowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes S.C. Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Ferraz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rei Pelle in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Zanette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Hubert Pihl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Zanette having to interfere. Bogumil Jarmulowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kajar Aibast in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogumil Jarmulowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, S.C. Internacional's goal looked a bit too open when Kajar Aibast came free, but Bogumil Jarmulowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogumil Jarmulowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajar Aibast in the 90th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
