João Adolfo Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wincent Wawro in the 7th minute. In the 14th minute, Rafinha Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes, Tião Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almirantes F.C. and the Remedios SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Tião Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wincent Wawro might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Adolfo Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wincent Wawro ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Almirantes F.C. defense, Wincent Wawro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Adolfo Torres. The Almirantes F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Adolfo Torres should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Remedios SC's Belchior Mamala got a free kick in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Almirantes F.C.'s João Adolfo Torres got control of the ball when Wincent Wawro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Magalhães in the 46th minute of play forced Almirantes F.C.'s goalkeeper João Adolfo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Alagoano. 49 minutes into the match, Almirantes F.C.'s João Paulo Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bunda Lele narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Wincent Wawro made the kick off in the second half. Rafinha Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Torres having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Wawro to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Chivu Quintana made a precise shot to the right of João Adolfo Torres. Almirantes F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Ricardo Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tião Abreu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Magalhães in the 65th minute of play forced Almirantes F.C.'s goalkeeper João Adolfo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes Almirantes F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisão Ribeiro who took care of the corner kick. Remedios SC's Luisão Ribeiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Adolfo Torres in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. João Adolfo Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Remedios SC's Ricardo Magalhães got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Ricardo Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of João Adolfo Torres. Almirantes F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Almirantes F.C. were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Remedios SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Paulo Messias took the corner. The corner ended in João Paulo Messias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Remedios SC's Bunda Lele did a great save. Luisão Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Wincent Wawro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Adolfo Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Wincent Wawro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Adolfo Torres was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 95th match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Remedios SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
