Rota66's Silvano Madaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Chao Gang in the 6th minute of play forced Rota66's goalkeeper Eduardo Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitório do Nascimento was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of Rota66:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eduardo Tinoco had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Benedito Sergipano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Rota66's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Onbera came free, but Eduardo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Gabriel Chaves in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Progresso FC's Adrian Onbera. Progresso FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Rota66's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedito Sergipano took the corner. In the 20th minute, Dé Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Nestor Fontenelle sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Onbera in the 23rd minute of play. Norberto Romero hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eduardo Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Chao Gang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rota66's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yu Chao Gang 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Nestor Fontenelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Tinoco having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Nestor Fontenelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Fontenelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konrad Gardocki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Túlio Torres's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Konrad Gardocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Progresso FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elder Mazza was slow to take the kick. During this time Rota66's players had a chance to rest. Rota66's Elder Mazza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Konrad Gardocki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 46th minute, Nestor Fontenelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Gabriel Chaves with Wilson Rossi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Gomes got free with Konrad Gardocki in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the game, Manuel Pitta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eduardo Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Nestor Fontenelle made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Tinoco. Rota66's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Konrad Gardocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Madaleno in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Rota66 got a corner. Progresso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elder Mazza ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Elder Mazza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Konrad Gardocki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rota66's Eduardo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Fontenelle in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Rota66's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Fontenelle came free, but Eduardo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Yu Chao Gang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Eduardo Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the game, Progresso FC's Nestor Fontenelle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 94th match minute, Progresso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Talló to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Progresso FC fully deserved thier win.
