Jorginho Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Hernández in the 19th minute of the match. Mathias Favoretto's late challenge caught a SC Royal Highness BR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mathias Favoretto hit a great ball. Gildo Mendes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jorginho Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes SC Royal Highness BR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mathias Favoretto who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mathias Favoretto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorginho Godoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute Róbson Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Vianna in the 27th minute of play forced SC Royal Highness BR's goalkeeper Jorginho Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorginho Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Hernández, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes SC Royal Highness BR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mathias Favoretto who took care of the corner kick. MAZER SAF's Mathias Favoretto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorginho Godoi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 32nd minute, Breno Bidon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jorginho Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Gonçalves in the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SC Royal Highness BR defense, Héctor Hernández kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorginho Godoi. The SC Royal Highness BR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorginho Godoi should have stopped the shot. Gervasio Fagondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Schmidt having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, MAZER SAF's Héctor Hernández made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorginho Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Héctor Hernández to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, MAZER SAF's Jorginho Godoi threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudinei Vianna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 53 minutes, Afonsinho Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAZER SAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonsinho Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Enéas Marinho got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Róbson Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Royal Highness BR's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbson Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toninho Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Matos in the 66th minute of the match. Toninho Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, SC Royal Highness BR's goalkeeper Jorginho Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Favoretto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Hernández in the 73rd minute of play forced SC Royal Highness BR's goalkeeper Jorginho Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonsinho Medeiros was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Medeiros. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Toninho Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Gervasio Fagondo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt. Toninho Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Matos in the 84th minute of play. When Claudinei Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAZER SAF's protests and gave Claudinei Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Royal Highness BR booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, MAZER SAF's Luís Gustavo Recife nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorginho Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. If Doriva Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Luís Gustavo Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
