But to his dismay, Marinho Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Toninho Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Jimilio in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Jerônimo Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Marty Whitmore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toninho Schmidt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Toninho Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Whitmore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Vianna during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paris Saint German booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Silas de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Toninho Schmidt. MAZER SAF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 28th match minute, Paris Saint German was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Brito to maneuver through the defense. Çelik Kadem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Toninho Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Siniştean in the 31st minute of the match. Toninho Schmidt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silas de Brito went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 39 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Medeiros. Toninho Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Jimilio in the 40th minute of the match. Toninho Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Jimilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silas de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save MAZER SAF from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Siniştean in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toninho Schmidt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Paris Saint German fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Paris Saint German's Carlos Jimilio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Toninho Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bogdan Siniştean sent off a good shot on target. Çelik Kadem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Paris Saint German's Silas de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toninho Schmidt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Bogdan Siniştean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Toninho Schmidt made a huge save. MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save MAZER SAF from getting a goal against them. Paris Saint German's Silas de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Claudinei Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Jimilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Schmidt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Jimilio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Carlos Jimilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paris Saint German fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 94 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Whitmore came free, but Toninho Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Jimilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Toninho Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Paris Saint German left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MAZER SAF.
