When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gildo Mendes made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Rota66's Jorginho Godoi threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvano Madaleno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Rota66 booed when SC Royal Highness BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rota66's Augusto Maciel was substituted for Dé Pernambucano.
