Thanks to some nice moves Mattias Wennerberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Vladimír Veleta however easily saved by the left post. In the 6th minute, Leonel Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, ITAMARATY's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos de Brito came free, but Vladimír Veleta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, ITAMARATY's Nunez Musko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mané Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vladimír Veleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos de Brito in the 23rd minute of the match. Leonel Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mané Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Domingues in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Viana saved Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ from getting behind. After a rather tough play, ITAMARATY's Arnaldo Goiano got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ got a corner. ITAMARATY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chico de Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chico de Brito made a great header on Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's corner, it was just that ITAMARATY's Vladimír Veleta managed to reach the ball for a save. Vladimír Veleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Carneiro in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ITAMARATY's zone, Mattias Wennerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimír Veleta came out of the goal and Mattias Wennerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Musko was the one to do the kick off. Leonel Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Viana having to interfere. Vladimír Veleta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Wennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Carlinhos de Brito scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimír Veleta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nunez Musko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ITAMARATY's Juvenal de Sousa got a free kick in the 68th minute. Juvenal de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Vladimír Veleta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Carneiro in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute Dário Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Veleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Viana made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Leonel Madureira sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th match minute, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Lopes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's João Augusto Lopes got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Adam Kopacz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 82nd minute Adam Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Veleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jano Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Arnaldo Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Madureiras short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Mané Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladimír Veleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Kopacz in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Jano Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimír Veleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, ITAMARATY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Domingues to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ were the better team. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
