Wieslaw Klucznik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulysses Vander. F.C VinnyRJ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, FURIA FIEL's Pedro Luiz Abreu got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes FURIA FIEL got a freekick which was hit by Raí Pitta. When Georgi Kakalov came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the F.C VinnyRJ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georgi Kakalov couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Oséias Recife sped through FURIA FIEL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip Boffin. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by FURIA FIEL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Georgi Kakalov was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C VinnyRJ's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Juninho Godoi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
