Oranil's Téo Koehler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Oranil from getting a goal against them. When Luiz Fabiano Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oranil's protests and gave Luiz Fabiano Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Ortiz. Téo Koehler acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sidnei Peres. SAS's Agostinho Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SAS's Oscar Mendonça got a free kick in the 13th minute. Durval Simões succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The supporters of SAS booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Téo Koehler came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SAS's Agostinho Carneiro. But to his dismay, Agostinho Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Oscar Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Agostinho Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Téo Koehler made a huge save. SAS's Agostinho Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cássio Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Durval Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Téo Koehler made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Agostinho Carneiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Téo Koehler. Agostinho Carneiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Hélder Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Koehler having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agostinho Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Agostinho Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Téo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percival Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Willian Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agostinho Carneiro in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo Koehler saved Oranil from getting behind. Lauro Zanette struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Téo Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAS. In the 66th match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Travassos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Luís Gustavo Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nilmar de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Téo Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Carneiro in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Téo Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lauro Zanette might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Koehler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauro Zanette ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulão Sampaio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute of the match Sidnei Peres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Téo Koehler skillfully saved the ball. Lauro Zanette got in the 76th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Téo Koehler handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Cristiano Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Koehler having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percival Simão got free with Willian Negri in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sidnei Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th match minute, SAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Willian Negri made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Percival Simão sent off a good shot on target.
