Claudinei Dionísio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes Pistolero Tricolor FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Trigo. Fang Bing Lei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Vasconcelos in the 9th minute of the match. Fang Bing Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo de Salles in the 18th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Pistolero Tricolor FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Madureira. In the 19th minute of the match Roberto Lopez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fang Bing Lei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pistolero Tricolor FC were furious when Cláudio Trigo was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 25th minute, one of Pistolero Tricolor FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pistolero Tricolor FC. The referee gave Stand By a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roberto Lopez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pistolero Tricolor FC's Fang Bing Lei. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Ramalho in the 31st minute of play forced Pistolero Tricolor FC's goalkeeper Fang Bing Lei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Fernandão Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Baiano. Stand By's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandão Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandão Trigo to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Fernandão Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stand By's Mauro Baiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Claudinei Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Pistolero Tricolor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Ramalho came free, but Fang Bing Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Luiz Paulo de Salles took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Fang Bing Lei to make any attempt to save it. Fernandão Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stand By walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
