In the 17th minute Cyprian Czerny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Kaczeniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juliane Álvarez scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Augusto Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Manituba getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Frederico Sampaio hit a great ball. When Juliane Álvarez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Vingadores F.C U23 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juliane Álvarez couldn't finish the play. If Cyprian Czerny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juliane Álvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Augusto Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Vingadores F.C U23 got a corner. Manituba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fábio Dantas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andre Piovezan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Juliusz Kaczeniak made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Cristóvão Seco sent off a good shot on target. Vingadores F.C U23's Juliusz Kaczeniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Vingadores F.C U23 from getting a goal against them. The Manituba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vingadores F.C U23 were winning 0-2.

The corner led Manituba's Caco Batista to fire away a dangerous shot which Juliusz Kaczeniak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Juliane Álvarez took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Pedro Augusto Pinho to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Augusto Pinho was a little too slow when Luiz Fábio Dantas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-4. Manituba's Juninho Albuquerque was substituted for Ezequiel Andrade. With a little luck, Manituba's Pedro Augusto Pinho got control of the ball when Juliane Álvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Cyprian Czerny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leandro Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vingadores F.C U23's protests and gave Leandro Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manituba's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vingadores F.C U23 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
