Mauro Baiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stand By's Mauro Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Loureiro in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Loureiro in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Loureiro in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Baiano saved Stand By from getting behind. Dráuzio Loureiro scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Baiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauro Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Caravelas FC booed when Stand By was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Dráuzio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caravelas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Caravelas FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Caravelas FC's Alex de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Loureiro notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Stand By's Mauro Baiano. Mauro Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Dráuzio Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Loureiro in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Baiano came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Caravelas FC's Dráuzio Loureiro. But to his dismay, Dráuzio Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Mauro Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex de Alcântara in the 43rd minute of play. When Zé Paulo Netto fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stand By's protests and gave Zé Paulo Netto a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Paulo Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The Stand By players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caravelas FC were winning 0-6.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Paulo de Salles was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Stand By's goalkeeper Mauro Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráuzio Loureiro. In the 54th minute Alex de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Eusébio Alvarenga made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Baiano. Stand By's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After having played for 60 minutes, Dráuzio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caravelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dráuzio Loureiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 62nd playminute. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Alex de Alcântara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 66th play minutes Dráuzio Loureiro shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Mauro Baiano and just under the crossbar into goal. Mauro Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Loureiros short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Mauro Baiano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Dráuzio Loureiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauro Baiano. That made the score 0-10 in the 73 minute of play. If Alex de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Stand By was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Netto to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Loureiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauro Baiano. Dráuzio Loureiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Dráuzio Loureiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Mauro Baiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kadri Tuncal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráuzio Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Mauro Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caravelas FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex de Alcântara in the 94th minute of play forced Stand By's goalkeeper Mauro Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
