Zé Paulo Netto got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rogério Cruz. 20 minutes into the match, Stand By's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Bouchard came free, but Mauro Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stand By getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Doni Ramalho hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Luiz Paulo de Salles sped through FÊNIX F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damian Fetor. Bengt Bouchard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Baiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Bengt Bouchard dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauro Baiano, 1-6. Mauro Baiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bengt Bouchard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 76 minute of play.
