Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabirel Jesus in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60thth minute of the game Gabirel Jesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BENACHIOS F.C's Zé Carlos Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BENACHIOS F.C's Claudinei Sá was substituted for Gilmar Proença. Ian Souto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Hendrik-Jan Brugmans made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Claudinei Sá sent off a good shot on target. The tension between the BENACHIOS F.C and the AÇAÍ SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AÇAÍ SA booed when BENACHIOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AÇAÍ SA fans cheered their team off the field, for while BENACHIOS F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
