In the 8th minute Ferenc Puskás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Prasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fontouras F. C.'s Gilbert Rukszcz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sílvio Luiz Alcântara. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. A collision led to Fontouras F. C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Aubameyang Gentenaar hit a great ball. Aubameyang Gentenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráusio Guimarães hit a great ball. Ferenc Puskás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Prasz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Rukszcz got free with Sílvio Luiz Alcântara in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferenc Puskás succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Rukszcz to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Guarani Futebol Clube's Orhun Taran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Prasz. That made the score 2-3 after 53 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Fontouras F. C.'s Rafael de Amaral got a free kick in the 56th minute. Orhun Taran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Raphael in the 61st minute of the match. With his leg Fernando Prasz managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Guarani Futebol Clube's Ferenc Puskás fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 68 minutes Fontouras F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Orhun Taran who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alexsandro Massa advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-4 in the 69th minute. In the 82nd minute, Ferenc Puskás reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Prasz. The goal made the score 3-5. Aubameyang Gentenaar struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fontouras F. C.. In the 87th play minute Ferenc Puskás came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernando Prasz. 3-6. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aubameyang Gentenaar in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Aubameyang Gentenaar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fontouras F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-6. Gilbert Rukszcz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sílvio Luiz Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guarani Futebol Clube eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
