Gláuber Ramalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Betão Vaz's late challenge caught a Risca Faca IMT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betão Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. When Deivid Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the S. E. Palestra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deivid Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Gláuber Ramalho came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Risca Faca IMT's Iker Silviano. But to his dismay, Iker Silviano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. S. E. Palestra's Gláuber Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Azevedo in the 28th minute of play. Leopoldo Azevedo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gláuber Ramalho. Gláuber Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience was convinced that Romário Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gláuber Ramalho was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Gláuber Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Azevedo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Azevedo notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of S. E. Palestra's Gláuber Ramalho. Gláuber Ramalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute, Paulo Renato Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Gláuber Ramalho. S. E. Palestra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Renato Prestes to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Renato Prestes came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gláuber Ramalho could save by the left post. In the 55th minute, Deivid Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gláuber Ramalho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leopoldo Azevedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 55 minute of play. A collision led to Risca Faca IMT getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Iker Silviano hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Risca Faca IMT's Gláuber Ramalho threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leopoldo Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 63 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Prestes lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Gláuber Ramalho. After 65 played minutes Risca Faca IMT got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Prestes. In the 67th minute, Romário Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Risca Faca IMT booed when S. E. Palestra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palestra's goalkeeper Gláuber Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Romário Aparecido lined in a short shot 0-15 behind a frustrated Gláuber Ramalho.
