Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5739, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reynaldo Freitas got the match started through his kick off. Ricardinho Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Eurico Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ricardinho Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Aguiar having to interfere. Luís Fábio de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Luz in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Olinda's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Teles came free, but Ricardinho Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Gigabyte Futebol's Joel Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardinho Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Douglas Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olinda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gigabyte Futebol the free kick. Ricardinho Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Olinda's zone, Joel Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Aguiar came out of the goal and Joel Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, Gerson Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gigabyte Futebol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olinda the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gigabyte Futebol's Gerson Tinoco got a free kick in the 24th minute. Murilo Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Eurico Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gigabyte Futebol's Luís Fábio de Souza got control of the ball when Jean do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laerte Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio de Souza having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Reynaldo Freitas made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fábio de Souza. Gigabyte Futebol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Olinda's zone, Joel Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Aguiar came out of the goal and Joel Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Teles to make the kick off. With a little luck, Olinda's Ricardinho Aguiar got control of the ball when Eurico Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, Jean do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celsinho Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Luís Fábio de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Freitas in the 59th minute of the match. Wiliam Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ricardinho Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Reynaldo Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olinda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 69 minutes into the match, Gigabyte Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Freitas came free, but Luís Fábio de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joel Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gigabyte Futebol's Anderson do Nascimento got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Murilo Sousa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fábio de Souza skillfully saved the ball. Emílio Netto's late challenge caught a Olinda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Netto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Gigabyte Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Netto to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Olinda's goalkeeper Ricardinho Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eurico Toledo. Joel Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eurico Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardinho Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Gerson Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ricardinho Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gigabyte Futebol. Many of Gigabyte Futebol's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Gigabyte Futebol may have spent more time on the ball, but Olinda were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
